Relativity & Moving charges - help?

A forum set up for physics questions from students in the courses PHYS1121, 1131, 1221 and 1331 at the University of New South Wales. It is intended for questions that cannot readily be answered in class,
either because they fall outside the main syllabus and therefore would be distraction (however interesting) or for other reasons.

Well, I just want to say THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH for bearing with me so patiently and explaining everything.

I found the journey delightful and I cannot begin to describe the relief of the resulting illumination!!! You have undone a whole lot of damage from major misunderstandings floating around out there with a great deal of misplaced confidence.

Interesting that according to the Bible, God gave everything form and dimension by saying, let there be light, rather than space-time!

Anyway, thanks once again!
